Reported at 10:17 a.m. on July 7: A backpack bandit may have been disappointed after opening the bag they stole from the Whole Foods break room in the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive. The backpack contained an apron, work gloves, Whole Foods hats, and knee pads.

The burglary of a 2022 GMC Sierra in the 4400 block of Shenandoah Avenue was reported at about 9:37 a.m.
Belatedly reported at 12:22 p.m.: Burglary of a 2024 Toyota Highlander that occurred on March 27 on Mockingbird Lane.
Reported at 3:03 p.m.: A thief stole between $2,500 and $30,000 of property in the 5900 block of Hillcrest Avenue.

Reported at 10:48 a.m.: A brazen burglar stole from a 2004 Nissan Altima and 2022 Ford F-250 on University Boulevard.
A 56-year-old woman was arrested at about 12:08 p.m. for stealing between $100 and $750 of property in the 3700 block of Snider Plaza.
Reported at 4 p.m.: A thief stole between $100 and $750 of property from a park or playground on Westminster Avenue.

Officers made a traffic stop at about 2:39 a.m. and arrested a 35-year-old man on warrants on Preston Road.
12 Saturday
Officers made a traffic stop and seized drug paraphernalia at about 2:44 a.m. on Westchester Drive.
Reported at 8:57 a.m.: A package pilferer stole from a home on San Carlos Drive.

An employee reported a theft at CVS on Preston Road at about 1:36 p.m.

7 Monday
Officers arrested a 24-year-old man on a warrant at about 7:55 a.m. in the 4500 block of Fairway Avenue.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on a warrant at about 12:45 p.m. in the 5100 block of Fairfield Avenue.
A reckless roadster hit a parked 2020 Toyota 4Runner in the 4300 block of Fairfax Avenue before 1:30 p.m. and did not leave information.
A 38-year-old man was arrested for having an expired motor vehicle registration, running a stop sign, and on multiple warrants at about 7:22 p.m. in the 3600 block of Euclid Avenue.

A thief took off in a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali stolen from the 4400 block of Southern Avenue before 9 a.m.
10 Thursday
A 27-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana at about 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Lomo Alto Drive and Mockingbird Lane.
11 Friday
A 53-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at about 11:52 p.m. near the junction of Knox Street and U.S. 75.
12 Saturday
A criminal cruiser stole a 2021 GMC Sierra from the 4500 block of Bordeaux Avenue before 1:30 p.m.
