Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café, an all-day café serving sweet and savory crêpes, omelettes, waffles, salads, and more, opened July 7 in Snider Plaza. The charming French-themed restaurant with its sprawling shaded patio is located in the former Buff City Soap store.
The menu is robust and features 27 different kinds of crêpes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Breakfast options include Le Mexicain, with scrambled eggs, queso fresco, refried beans, and carnitas topped with chipotle sauce, crema, and avocado.
I popped in for lunch on opening day and had the Ham & Gruyère which was filled with big chunks of smoked ham and melted cheese with a béchamel sauce trickled on top. It was rich but the accompanying salad with Dijon vinaigrette balanced it out. Other savory crêpes include Turkey, Grapes & Brie and Nordic with smoked salmon.

Nine sweet crêpe options range from simple Lemon & Sugar to a very involved Apple Cinnamon Crème Brûlée which will satisfy even the biggest sweet tooth.
Crêpe batter can be modified to accommodate vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free for an additional cost. There are vegan options, too.
