Residents can leave a lasting mark on Curtis and Caruth parks through the purchase of customizable border stones that honor loved ones, celebrate milestones, or show support for area parks and neighborhoods.
Memorial Stones cost $250 each and will border the parks’ new playgrounds. Proceeds from the stones’ purchase will be used for park enhancements and playground improvements at the park where individual stones are located.

For the past 20 years, border stones in University Park playgrounds have been a creative, personalized way to raise funds for park improvements.
The program’s relaunch coincides with the National Recreation and Park Association’s Parks and Recreation Month, which has the theme ‘Build Together, Play Together.’
