Founded in April 2021, Aid Via Action Inc. 501(c)(3) is nonprofit organization “AVA” for short. Our Volunteer Board of Directors are Doctors and Nurses from the US. The AVA Board along with volunteer doctors and nurses provide lifesaving surgery to men, women and children in Guatemala at no cost to the patients. We offer advanced surgical techniques that are lifesaving and promote quality of life for this underserved population with limited resources. There is no compensation for our time and travel expenses dedicated to this mission, we are 100% volunteer healthcare providers. We foster a bi-directional education alliance with the local medical professionals in Guatemala to strengthen the infrastructure of the local health care system and promote accessible health care at no charge. AVA mission trips are completed 3-4 times a year and require a full operating suite of medical professionals. 100% of the donations to AVA go directly to purchase supplies, provide care to the patients in Guatemala and support educational efforts.

Our Annual Fundraiser Aid Via Action Annual 5K Race on 9-20-25 is to benefit adults and children of San Benito Hospital in Guatemala.
