A woman was arrested at about 10:17 p.m. in the 4300 block of Fairfax Avenue for assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
A bicycle bandit stole a Trek Wahoo! kids bike before 8:45 p.m. from a yard in the 4300 block of Lorraine Avenue.
16 Tuesday
A 24-year-old and 28-year-old were arrested in the 5400 block of Fairfield Avenue for engaging in organized criminal activity.
17 Wednesday
A crafty thief stole three saws and a lacrosse backpack from an open garage in the 4500 block of Belfort Place before 12:26 a.m.
A brazen burglar broke a window of a BMW X3 in the 3700 block of Crescent Avenue before 3:52 a.m. and rummaged through the vehicle, but no items were reported stolen.
Reported at 11:18 a.m.: Since he didn’t have a Verizon account, a resident of the 4600 block of Edmondson Avenue dismissed as spam the text messages claiming that his account was overdue. Then, he noticed an entry on his credit report showing that Verizon had sent his account to collections.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at about 10:35 a.m. in the 4500 block of Fairway Avenue and accused of evading and resisting arrest, failing to identify himself, trespassing, and possessing a controlled substance.
A 19-year-old man was arrested for displaying the wrong license plate/registration, and a 21-year-old man was arrested on a felony warrant, at about 2:04 p.m. in the 4500 block of Lemmon Avenue.

A delinquent driver hit a 2021 BMW M5 in the 4300 block of Potomac Avenue before 3:30 p.m., but did not leave information.

A Trek Marlin 8 bicycle was reported missing from a driveway in an undisclosed location at about 3:36 p.m., but a Mongoose bicycle was discovered nearby.
