A picky thief stole a backpack containing a laptop, AirPods, pencil case, and Canon Powershot G7 X Mark III digital camera from an unlocked Maserati in Highland Park Village at about 9:30 p.m., then dumped all the stolen items except for the camera and pencil case near Highland Park High School.
