Australian frozen yogurt brand Yo-Chi recently opened its first international location in Dallas, with another location set to follow.

Yo-Chi opened at 5710 Lovers Lane Oct. 3 to long lines. Throughout its opening weekend, a Yo-Chi spokesperson estimates it served 5,000 guests.

“Texas always felt like the Australia of the U.S., but now it really does feel like a home away from home. Dallas showed us exactly why we believed it was the right city to bring Yo-Chi to the U.S. first. The incredible turnout and energy throughout the opening weekend were beyond what we could have imagined. We are so grateful for the support and hope we can continue to be a positive, inclusive, and extremely fun community hub for everyone in Dallas!” said Yo-Chi co-owner Ollie Allis.

Yo-Chi is expected to open another Dallas location at NorthPark Center later this year, with additional expansion in the U.S. planned for next year.
