The Highland Park volleyball team improved to 15-3 on the season by winning seven out of eight matches in last week’s Northwest ISD Tournament.
The Lady Scots beat Saginaw (25-14, 25-19), Hereford (25-11, 25-9), Lenader Vandegrift (25-11, 25-27, 25-16), Cedar Park (25-18, 30-28), Midlothian (25-15, 25-9), and Byron Nelson (25-18, 25-16). Highland Park’s only loss came against Waxahachie in its final match of the tourney. The Lady Indians won, 25-21, 22-25, 25-20, to up their record to 17-3.
Highland Park head coach Michael Dearman is now 10 wins away from his 500th career victory.
The Lady Scots play at Frisco Liberty on Tuesday night. Highland Park will then play its final tournament at Frisco Thursday-Saturday.
