Highland Park ISD has released its school calendar for next year. Classes will begin Aug. 28 and conclude June 1, 2018. Students will get three days off for Thanksgiving and two weeks for winter holidays between semesters. Spring break is slated for March 12-16. If bad weather necessitates make-up days, classes will be held on June 4-5, 2018.
