The foundation honoring the life and legacy of 9-year-old Lila Bonner will host its first major fundraising event from 7 to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6.

To learn more about Lilas’s Lovefest, become a sponsor, or make a donation, visit lilaslight.org/lilas-lovefest or email [email protected]. Individual tickets are not available at this time.

Lila was an animal lover and natural-born leader who dreamed of one day opening and operating an animal rescue service. She was lost in the catastrophic July 4 flooding at Camp Mystic.

Her legacy continues through the Lila’s Light Foundation, which invests in benchmarking, education, and advocacy to keep children safe, and in rescuing animals that are experiencing a crisis or have been impacted by a natural disaster.

Lila’s Lovefest will be an intimate evening filled with connection to the mission of Lila’s Light.

The event will feature surprise musical appearances, guest emcee Meredith Land, who is an NBC anchor and reporter, and rescue animal(s) from the Kerrville Floods. There will also be silent and live auctions, signature activations, a photo booth, an SPCA x Lila’s Light branded vehicle, a Lila’s Lux Friendship Bracelet Bar, a Patio Party, and exclusive Lila’s Light collections.

In addition to Lila’s Light, the evening will benefit the SPCA of Texas, The Safety Navigator, haven x Campise Farms, the Safe Summer’s Fund, and The Campaign for Camp Safety.
