Dallas CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) recently closed out the 2026 Parade of Playhouses.
In its 31st year, Parade of Playhouses brought architects, builders, organizations, and businesses together to design and build elaborate children’s playhouses to support children in foster care. During the event, raffle tickets for the opportunity to win the playhouses are sold, with the proceeds benefiting the children served by Dallas CASA.
Since 1977, Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) has been protecting children who’ve been abused or neglected.
“Nothing we do all year gets us as many volunteers as Parade of Playhouses,” said Dallas CASA CEO Kathleen M. LaValle.
Gathered under the Ad Astra sculpture at the NorthPark Center for the Closing Party, CASA friends and supporters thanked the 2026 playhouse designers for spreading awareness and helping those in foster care.
CASA is currently looking for event underwriters and playhouse designers for 2027. For more information about Dallas CASA and volunteer opportunities, visit their website.
