Welcome to The Blandest Hallway in Dallas

|

This is a little extracurricular, but bear with me. I know a lot of you work downtown, so this is applicable.

The picture above is a hallway in the tunnel between Fountain Place and Lincoln Plaza downtown. It is the blandest hallway on the face of the earth. White walls, white ceilings, white floors. I believe it was inspired by a scene from a Stanley Kubrick film.

Would it kill them to put up some paintings? Throw a blue stripe down the wall? I’d even take cream at this point. I’m surprised they didn’t find some kind of white metal for the hand railings.

Point is, no matter how much we bicker on here about zoning, and land use, at least Park Cities buildings have colored walls.
