The iconic pitched roof cottage on Asbury Street will soon have a new tenant.

Rollin Joe’s, a new concept introduced by Park Cities resident and SMU grad Jerry Mooty will serve premium coffee, matcha, teas, refreshers, smoothies, energy beverages, and elevated grab-and-go items. Rollin Joe’s is slated to open late summer or early fall at 3411 Asbury St., the longtime home of New York Sub across from Southern Methodist University.

Rollin Joe’s intends to serve as an all-day destination for guests to enjoy house-crafted non alcoholic brewed drinks, smoothies, and refreshing juice-based drinks, while listening to house music and the occasional guest DJ.

Mooty and his partner in this endeavor, Kirk Thompson, aim to create an upbeat experience for guests.
