Highland Park mayor Will C. Beecherl has ordered that flags at municipal buildings and facilities in the town of Highland Park be lowered to half-staff to honor those who lost their lives in the Hill Country’s catastrophic flooding.
“Let this be a time of reflection, unity, support, and compassion as we remember all those impacted by this profound loss,” Beecherl wrote in a July 10 proclamation.
