A Highland Park High School mom has donated 1,000 green wristbands for families to wear to support those impacted by Kerr County’s catastrophic flood, and to remember the lives lost in the disaster.

The wristbands are available for porch pick up through Saturday night, July 19, at the home of Highland Park High School PTA president Neely Thrash in the 4000 block of Hanover Street.

Additional green tablecloth is also available on Thrash’s porch through Saturday night for anyone in need of more ribbon or a ribbon refresh.

“We remember those who lost their lives in the horrific Kerr County flood,” the box holding the wristbands reads. “Our hearts are with all the families, friends, and communities impacted by this tragedy.”
