The Texas State Fair — a hub for deep-fried food, ring toss and water gun games, and the Ferris wheel — saw its first-ever fashion activation, drawing over 10,000 attendees on opening weekend.

The fast fashion giant SHEIN made a bold debut with its pop-up saloon, serving up Western vibes with a trendy twist. The rustic-meets-runway spot became a popular stop for fashion-forward fairgoers looking to snap pics, snag exclusive merch, and show off their Western-inspired looks.

“We wanted to bring something uniquely SHEIN to an iconic event like the Texas State Fair,” said company representative Remy Campbell.

The space was part boutique, part experience — complete with corn hole gamescustom chain-stitched bandanasand airbrushed tattoos. Fairgoers were also treated to a lineup of graphic teesdenim staples, and crop-top plaids, all styled to fit the fairground aesthetic, giving visitors a chance to shop and play.

Fourteen-year-old Kylie Reynolds was excited to get her initials custom-embroidered on the pink bandana she won at the corn hole game inside the pop-up. “This made my trip to the fair so worth it,” she said.
