HPHS Theater Students Stage Production of ‘Into the Woods’
The production, which features music from Stephen Sondheim, runs from March 1-3, with showtimes at 7 p.m. on March 1-2, and at 2 p.m. on March 3. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

The filing window for the May 4, 2024 election closed on Feb. 16, and no other candidates completed applications for a place on the ballot, according to the election information section of the HPISD website.
Community Invited to LitFest Keynote Feb. 22
The entire community is invited to the Highland Park Literary Festival’s free keynote address at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, at HPHS. The next day, students will learn about language in all its written, spoken, and visual forms from experts in the field during LitFest’s workshop day at the high school.
