After demolishing North Dallas in the area round of the Class 4A state baseball playoffs last week, the Highland Park Scots will take on Frisco Wakeland in a best-of-three series in the regional quarterfinals.
Game 1 will be at 8 p.m. Thursday. Game 2 will be at 8 p.m. Friday. If necessary, Game 3 will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. All three games will be at Hebron High School.
The Scots (31-4) beat North Dallas, 11-0, and 14-1. Meanwhile, the Wolverines (33-4) swept Bryan Adams, 10-0, and 18-2. Wakeland eliminated Highland Park in three games in last year’s bi-district round.
The winner moves on to face the Mesquite Poteet-Texarkana Texas High winner in the regional semifinals next week.
