The calendar hasn’t even turned over to July yet, but the Highland Park football team has its first oral commitment to a Division I school.
Offensive lineman Tanner Stone (6-5, 207) has committed to Duke. Stone, who is a rising senior, also received offers from Colorado, North Texas, Colorado State, and Tulsa. Oral commitments are non-binding. Recruits can not sign letters until Feb. 1.
