After sweeping Frisco Liberty, 25-17, 25-22, 25-17, in a Class 4A bi-district match on Tuesday night in Carrollton, Highland Park’s volleyball team will take on Seagoville (19-3) in the area round at 6 p.m. Friday at Ellis Davis Field House.
The Lady Scots (37-6) got 15 kills and four aces from Maya Lloyd agains the Redhawks. Eleanor Watson added 10 kills, while Grace Carter had 20 digs, and Lena Pierce had 36 assists.
The winner of Friday night’s match will take on the Frisco-Woodrow Wilson winner in the regional quarterfinals early next week.
