Highland Park’s defense stopped Carrollton Creekview on 4th-and-2 from the Scots’ 25-yard line on its final possession of the game to escape with a 28-23 road win on Friday night.
The victory wrapped up a playoff berth for the Scots (7-1, 5-0).
Quarterback Jet Tuma rushed for three touchdowns, including a 70-yarder.
