Highland Park alum Lindsey Streepey and Notre Dame teammate Emma Gaboury qualified for the USA Diving National Championships in 3-meter synchronized springboard to become the first duo in school history to make it to nationals in that event.
Streepey also qualified for nationals in the 1-meter springboard. She was ninth in that event at the Preliminary Zone B Championships last weekend. Streepey and Gaboury finished second.
Streepey, a rising sophomore, also earned All-Big East honors after finishing third in the platform at the conference championships.
The nationals are set for Aug. 13-18 in Iowa City, Iowa.
