Crime Reports May 27 – June 2

It was quite an evening at the CVS at Mockingbird Lane and Central Expressway. At 1:59 a.m. May 29, a black 2002 Ford F250 crashed through the front door of the store and the would-be thief attempted to steal the ATM. The damage to the front door totaled around $10,000.

Crime: May 20 – 26

A $100 Broker Hyde wallet that likely fell onto the driveway from its owner's pocket when he got home in the the 3600 block of Normandy Avenue at 6:30 p.m. May 21 was discovered missing at 6:30 a.m. the next day.

May 8 was a bad day for windows on cars parked at locations along Preston Road. Burglars broke three in order to steal vehicle contents. Incidents were reported at 9:57 a.m. at Northaven United Methodist Church at Preston and Northaven roads,  at 7:07 p.m. at Preston Royal Village, and at 7:34 p.m. at Preston Forest Village.
