I’m not sure how I missed the sad news yesterday about a plane crash involving Highland Park grad Fisher Floyd and seasoned pilot Noell Rather. WFAA’s photos of the scene are heartbreaking.
Rather, 77, was a 1957 SMU alumnus who’s also listed as a 1953 Highland Park graduate on websites such as classmates.com (I’ve yet to confirm as much, but it sure seems likely). Floyd was only 30, and a father of two young boys.
