November 2022 Midterm Election Results

Voters cast their ballots in the 2022 midterm elections Nov. 8.

Of the more than 1.4 million registered voters in the county, the Dallas County Elections Department reported more than 189,000 voters had cast their ballot in Dallas County as of 6 p.m. Nov. 8.

Early voting turnout was down in the county from the 2018 midterms, the Texas Secretary of State’s office reports, at about 29% compared with nearly 40% in 2018.

People Newspapers intern Sabrina Gomez visited polling sites the afternoon of Nov. 8 and said 1,922 voters had cast their ballots at University Park United Methodist Church as of 3:30 p.m., 1,550 had cast their ballots at Our Redeemer as of 3:45 p.m., 410 had cast their ballots at the Highland Park ISD administration building as of 3:30 p.m., and 388 had cast their ballots at Central Commons.
