HP Girls Keep Rolling in District Play

Highland Park maintained its position as a co-leader atop the District 7-6A girls basketball standings on Tuesday with a decisive 70-39 win at Richardson Berkner.

It extended the season-long winning streak to nine games for the Lady Scots (21-8, 9-1), who also crushed Irving MacArthur 67-23 on Jan. 19.

Ali Jackson had 15 points, while Kate Danner and Audrey Walker added 14 points apiece to lead a balanced offensive output against Berkner.

In the MacArthur game, HP stormed to a 36-7 halftime advantage. Danner paced the Lady Scots with 15 points and Audrey Walker tallied 12. HP will look to continue rolling on Friday at Richardson Pearce.
