Hundreds View Solar Eclipse at SMU
Eclipse viewers at SMU used everything from empty cereal boxes to powerful telescopes to view April 8’s celestial event on the Dallas lawn.
The weather defied forecasts, and clouds cleared for long enough to allow for ample viewing at the school’s watch party. Dallas was the largest city in the path of totality for the once-in-a-lifetime sky show.
