Unicorns, besides mermaids and ballerinas, were my favorite thing to read about and collect when I was a very young tike. When I found an email from Dan Koller in my inbox with “Unicorns…” as the sole text in the body of the email, I just about lost it.
Author Lauren Plaskonos will be signing her book/poem Golden Horn, Silver Hooves at the SMU Barnes and Noble this Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. According to the email, Golden Horn, Silver Hooves, written in old English verse, tells the story of a character coming across a unicorn and the musings that ensue.
