Lady Scots Race to Season-Opening Win
Highland Park got the girls cross country season off to a fast start, as the Lady Scots won a team title at the Plano ISD Invitational on Saturday at Russell Creek Park.
HP edged McKinney Boyd and Allen to claim the team crown. Charlotte Hudson took third place individually for the Lady Scots by covering 5 kilometers in 18 minutes, 52 seconds.
Sara Cavey and Alli Grace Ott also placed in the top 10 for HP, which will race next weekend at the Woodhouse Invitational in Waxahachie.
