HP Girls Place Second in Texarkana
Landry Saylor led the Highland Park girls to a runner-up finish in the team standings at the Jay Brewer Memorial Classic golf tournament over the weekend at Texarkana Country Club.
HP was just one stroke from the top of the podium in the 12-team field. Saylor tied for fifth individually, pacing a squad that included Tatum Thomason, Iris Song, Claire Wiebe, and Grace Heiss.
Up next, the Lady Scots will compete in the 6A State Preview tournament beginning Friday at Legacy Hills Golf Clujb in Georgetown.
