Scots Rally to Top Rangers in Thriller

Highland Park passed one of its biggest tests of the lacrosse season on Friday with a thrilling 9-7 road win over defending state champion Jesuit Dallas.

The Scots then stretched their winning streak to six games with a 9-8 triumph over East Coast power Don Bosco (N.J.) on Saturday.

Frank Mousa scored to key a late comeback for HP against the Rangers. The Scots tallied three unanswered goals in the fourth quarter.

With three games remaining in the regular season, HP has not lost to a Texas opponent. The Scots (14-4) will travel to face rival St. Mark’s on Tuesday before hosting Allen on April 21 and Episcopal School of Dallas on April 28.

Cameron Martin scored four goals in defeat for the Rangers (6-8), who have dropped eight of their past 10 games overall. Jesuit will host Southlake Carroll on Thursday in its regular-season finale.
