Jason Forshee Launches Forshee Law

Corporate business and tax attorney and University Park resident Jason Forshee has recently launched Forshee Law.

Primary specialty practice areas include business and corporate law, tax law, mergers and acquisitions, executive benefits and compensation, and others.

Forshee is the founding member and managing partner, along with Christine “Chrissi” Hathaway, who joined him in co-founding the firm based in Dallas.

Forshee, born and raised in rural Mississippi, graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi College and went on to attend law school at the University of Mississippi School of Law. He earned a Master of the Laws (LL.M.) degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Taxation, where he graduated with distinction.

Hathaway has more than 25 years of experience providing legal advice in a wide array of corporate, securities, and business-related transactions across a range of industries, including manufacturing, technology, energy, consumer products, healthcare, and financial services for clients ranging from start-up ventures to Fortune 100 companies.

Her practice includes extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance (including public and private issuances of debt and equity securities, private equity, joint ventures, and general business matters.
